Johanna Fuentes-Murillo is a clinical counselor with a special interest in integrating the Catholic faith with her Counseling practice. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from Divine Mercy University and is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. She also received her Bachelor’s in Theology and Catechetics from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. She is a certified clinical traumatologist through the Green Cross and is trained in several evidence-based interventions, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also working on her Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Certification from the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. Other clinical interests include the application of Person-Centered Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT).
