About

William L Toffler is a family physician who sees patients of all ages from conception and obstetric to natural death. Dr. Toffler trained at the Medical College of Virginia (now Virginia Commonwealth University) and did his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was named Outstanding Resident of his graduating class.

He is board-certified in Family Medicine and has over 45 years of practice experience including 6 years in private practice in a small town in the foothills of the Cascades. He was then invited to join the faculty at Oregon Health & Sciences University. After 35 years of practice and teaching medical students and residents he was named emeritus professor.

Most recently he was one of the co-founders and practiced for 4 years at Holy Family Catholic Clinic just outside of Portland, Oregon.
As a family physician, he particularly appreciates being able to care for entire families. This allows him to address all aspects of an individual’s biopsychosocial and spiritual needs. He has a special interest in sports medicine and musculoskeletal complaints including acute and chronic back pain.

He and his late wife, Marlene, have been blessed with 7 children and 27 grandchildren (so far!)
