Sometimes life brings unexpected challenges, painful losses, and confusing situations. I’ve walked alongside clients facing many different situations, helping them sort out where they want to head and how to put together a plan to move towards this destination while respecting and incorporating their faith into the healing process.
Some of the areas in which I can help are:

  Coping Strategies: overcoming negative thinking, finding healthy ways to manage life and emotions

  Grief and loss: death of a loved one, ending of a relationship, or coping with an illness, primary or secondary infertility

  Life Transitions: such as a new baby, moving, job loss, empty nest, family situational changes

  Relationship issues: improving communication, boundaries, understanding common relationship patterns and challenges

  Stress management: work/life balance, job stress, relationship or family stress

From the very first session, my goal is to understand what unique challenges you are facing, to get a sense of where you want to head, and to begin working with you to map out a plan that will help you to take things one step at a time. 

I pull from many different counseling styles and resources to support you in your unique situation and am continually learning and developing further resources to share with you. For over 30 years, I’ve been supporting people in working through their challenges and finding the best version of themselves.

Clients regularly comment on my warmth, supportive nature, and the vast array of resources I draw upon while helping them. Having provided services in a variety of settings, Employee Assistance Programs, Mental Health Clinics, schools, and group homes, I have incorporated the best of counseling techniques from many different therapy styles and am skilled in providing services in person and virtually by video or telephone.
