Thomas Pfister, LPC, CSAC, BC-TMH is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the State of Wisconsin. He is also a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). Thomas holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in both mental health and addiction, from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.

Thomas has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including private practice, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and school-based, with individuals and families of all ages. Additionally, Thomas has received extensive training in Thomistic psychology (the application of the philosophy of Saint Thomas Aquinas to counseling psychology) and has provided speaking engagements on mental health from a Thomistic framework. He has also provided therapy services for seminarians, priests, and consecrated religious.

Thomas provides individual, marital, and family therapy and coaching. His approach is rooted in Thomistic psychology and incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Thomas has completed advanced training in both couples therapy through the Gottman Relationship Institute and EMDR through Mind Works Professional Education.
