Theresa Escalante, M.D.

Dr. Escalante has worked for 30 years in Private practice, caring for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Her passion is to maximize health in her patients with using the least amount of prescription medications possible . She works as a partner with her patients to tailor treatment plans and continues to reassess the benefits along with her patients. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles, California, and got her Medical Degree from Loyola Stritch Medical School in Chicago. She did her Internal Medicine Residency at Harbor -UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Where she also completed a Medical Genetics fellowship. After working as an Internist she later earned a second board certification in Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Escalante has been active in studying her faith and teaches a 10 week course on Ignatian Spiritual Discernment and has also competed training as a spiritual director. She is able to care for her patients body while being mindful of their spiritual needs. Dr. Escalante is fluent in both English and Spanish.
