• Rooted in Tradition: Born from the vibrant culture of Colombia, Dr. Parra completed her medical degree at Instituto Ciencias de la Salud CES in Medellin, followed by her internal medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center, PA.
• Seeking the Holistic: Driven by a desire to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. Dr. Parra has immersed herself in advanced integrative medicine courses from prestigious institutions like the Institute for Functional Medicine ( IFM), the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine ( A4M). Her training spans from hormone health to environmental medicine, culminating in specialized programs like Integrative Cancer Therapy and IV therapy

She has provided medical care in underserved areas of Colombia and worked as a hospitalist across Pennsylvania, balancing her time between direct patient care and advancing medical practices through quality improvement projects.
• Telemedicine Pioneer: Recognizing the power of technology in healthcare, Dr. Parra was an early adopter of telemedicine, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 response. She now brings her expertise in virtual primary care and functional medicine, ensuring that no matter where you are, your health is in caring hands.
