About

Susie Gilstrap received her Master’s in Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville and is licensed in Ohio and Alabama. Her therapy utilizes the interventions of Internal Family Systems and parts work, Theology of the Body, the Anatomy of a Wound, Inner Healing prayer, emotion coaching, and many other counseling interventions and practices that align with Catholic teaching. She has extensive experience working with married and engaged couples, and with individuals struggling with a history of trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, and scrupulosity. She also assists those seeking clarity for life decisions. She is a mother of three grown children and five grandchildren.
