Sofia is a mental health counselor who takes a holistic approach to therapy. She integrates psychological theories, philosophical insights into human nature, and the theological teachings of the Catholic Church to better understand the human experience. Utilizing psychodynamic techniques and principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sofia aims to gain insight into each client’s individual experience.

In addition, she employs a trauma-informed approach and is certified as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist. By incorporating mindfulness principles, Sofia fosters an environment of curiosity during sessions, working collaboratively with clients to enhance their self-awareness regarding personal motivations, values, and goals. She is passionate about helping her clients rediscover a sense of meaning, worth, and belonging in their lives.
