Robert Chasuk, M.D., CFCMC

Dr. Rob Chasuk is a family physician, husband, and father of 5 children. He sees patients from adolescence through adulthood for general primary and urgent care.

Dr. Chasuk has a special interest in restorative women’s health care using NaProTECHNOLOGY. This method uses the Creighton Model FertilityCare System of charting a woman’s fertility cycle to manage a variety of women’s health problems including infertility, premenstrual syndrome, and recurrent miscarriage. He has been certified in this method since 2004 by the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals (AAFCP) and he received the Medical Consultant of the Year Award from the AAFCP in 2017.

Dr. Chasuk graduated from the University of California San Diego Medical School in 1984. He completed his Family Medicine residency at SUNY at Stony Brook in 1987 and practiced Family Medicine for 7 years at the Ochsner Clinic in Algiers, Louisiana. In 1994 Dr. Chasuk joined the faculty of the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Baton Rouge General where he practiced and taught Family Medicine for 28 years. For much of that time he maintained an appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine for Tulane University School of Medicine. He was medical director of long term and skilled nursing care for 14 years at the St. James Place, a continuing care retirement community in Baton Rouge.

Dr. Chasuk and his wife, Patti, recently moved back to California and look forward to enjoying more time with their extended family.
