About Pamela

Pamela Richardson is a board-certified family and emergency nurse practitioner. She is a Creighton Model FertilityCare Practitioner and medical consultant. She is pursuing additional training in functional medicine to help her patients achieve optimal health and wellness. She is an urgent care provider in northern Nevada. She has been an emergency department provider and a women’s healthcare provider at a life-affirming reproductive health and pregnancy center.

Pamela graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois with a degree in Art History and Biblical Archaeology in 1984. She completed her Associates Degree in Nursing and became a registered nurse in 1993. She completed her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2009 and Master’s in Nursing in 2012 through University of Texas at El Paso, and become board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012. She completed a post-Master’s in Emergency and Trauma Care in 2016 through University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and became board certified as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in 2019.

Pamela is the mother of a son. She enjoys hiking, fly fishing, raising and showing champion Silky Terriers and Whippets, and traveling.
