Tasha Werth is a nurse practitioner, educator, and lifelong Kansan whose heart is rooted as firmly in healthcare as it is in the quiet, steady rhythm of farm life. She lives on a family farm in Kansas, where she and her husband—who is a devoted farmer—have built a life centered on hard work, faith, and family.
A proud mother and grandmother, Tasha cherishes time spent with her growing family. Whether she is helping with farm chores, tending her garden, or quilting by the window on a quiet evening, she finds joy in the simple, meaningful moments that rural life offers.
Professionally, Tasha has her Doctorate of Nursing Practice, with a focus in Primary Prevention, Family practice, and Women’s health (Menopause, Perimenopause, PCOS, and fertility). Before her work in advanced practice, she served in diverse nursing roles
with more than two decades of experience spanning family practice, cardiac care, women’s health, home health, pediatrics, emergency care, and nursing education. She is passionate about helping patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their health. Her career has included both clinical leadership and years of teaching at Fort Hays State University, where she mentored future generations of nurses with warmth, encouragement, and a deep respect for the profession.
Tasha’s life and work are guided by her strong Catholic faith, which shapes her approach to patient care, community service, and family life. She is active in faith life and believes deeply in serving others through compassion, humility, and integrity.
Whether caring for patients, supporting her community, or tending to her garden, Tasha embodies dedication, kindness, and a genuine commitment to making a difference—one person, one moment, one act of service at a time. Her career reflects an unwavering dedication to service, professional growth, and improving health care access in rural Kansas.
