Marisa Fisher, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with special interests in primary and family care, root-cause functional and lifestyle medicine, women’s health and fertility care, and well-being of the whole person body, mind, and soul.

Marisa enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband, listening to folk music, laughing with Midwest comedians, hiking, cooking, and growing deeper in her faith.

She is quite fond of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, G.K. Chesterton’s quotes, and all sorts of classical literature and art.

Natural family planning should be covered pre-deductible and without co-pay in accordance with the Affordable Care Act, equal to birth control coverage, as long as you see a MyCatholicDoctor medical provider that is in network with your insurance and get a referral to a MyCatholicDoctor NFP instructor. Your insurance plan may also require you to obtain a PCP referral. Unfortunately, many insurance carriers inappropriately apply co-pay and deductible for NFP, and inappropriately deny claims. MyCatholicDoctor is fighting this at many levels. If you are billed a co-pay or deductible, or your claim is denied, please contact your insurance company. 
Self-Pay Discounted Rates are available at this time. Service may be eligible for HSA reimbursement when deemed medically necessary by your PCP
