NP King is a psychiatric nurse practitioner, mother of five adult children, and a US Army veteran. She received her advanced nursing practice degree from Husson University and additional studies in psychology from Divine Mercy University. She has practiced in a rural psychiatric clinic treating a variety of mental illnesses, including depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, psychotic disorders, and addictions. She has certification in bioethics through the National Catholic Bioethics Center, as well as a master’s degree in theology and bioethics through holy apostles. Her practice is limited to adults using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological modalities. My perspective in treating patients is from a human flourishing model.
