About

Karen Snyder is a Mental Health Therapist who holds an M.A. in Pastoral Theology and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health. Before transitioning into counseling, she worked as a Financial Analyst for over 20 years. In 2021, she decided to pursue her passion for helping others heal their emotional wounds through a faith-based approach.

Since 2023, Karen has been working at The Peacemaker Center and aims to achieve her professional state licensure by the end of 2025. Over the past two years, she has successfully assisted a variety of clients with diverse concerns. Karen explores her clients’ past experiences to gain insight into their current challenges and helps them develop a plan that aligns with their unique personalities and needs.

I am married and have two wonderful stepchildren. I share my life with three dogs and three cats, who bring me joy every day. I find inspiration in reading, knitting, quilting, hiking, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
