Joseph received his MA in Counseling from Bethel University in May of 2020. Since then, he has had experience working with a large range of clients in schools, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings, dual-diagnosis programs, and private practice settings.

Joseph has come to embrace an integrative approach with individuals that uses psychodynamic therapies, emotionally focused therapy, somatic work, DBT Therapy, EMDR inspired interventions, and Catholic spiritual integration. He strives to integrate faith and spirituality into his work to promote wholeness within each person. Joseph takes a relational, person-centered, trauma-informed, emotion-focused body body-based approach to build joy, peace, and freedom in his clients’ lives. He strives to encounter his clients wherever they are and to collaborate towards building meaningful and lasting goals in their work together. His specialities are PTSD & trauma, grief & loss, OCD & scrupulosity, sexual addiction & integrity, anxiety & phobias, depression, addiction & substance use, tic disorders, chronic health issues, faith & spirituality, and relational & family issues.
