Joanne E. Castillo Rivera, M.D.

Dr. Joanne Castillo Rivera is a wife, mother of 3, and a board certified family medicine physician. Dr. Castillo completed her Family Medicine Residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA, served at Cetronia Primary Care in Allentown, PA and then at Capital Internal Medicine Associates in Lansing, MI. In 2020, she discerned to stay at home to care for her children and began providing virtual medical care from her home.

Dr. Castillo was born, raised, and educated in the US territory, Puerto Rico. She attended undergraduate at the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras and graduated from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, her hometown, in 2010. Her interests include preventive medicine, whole family care for patients of all ages, and natural family planning, primarily through the Creighton Model Fertility Care System with features of NaPro technology. She is passionate about comprehensive wellness and partners with her patients to be “Happy, Holy, and Healthy”.

Dr. Castillo enjoys reading, dancing, and spending time with her husband, their children, extended family, and friends.
