About

Dr. Costanzo is a psychiatrist, husband, father, baseball coach, and powerlifter. Dr. Costanzo loves Jesus and empowering patients to overcome their mental illness. He believes in a strong focus on therapy, but is also well-versed in complex medication management of psychiatric illness, if needed. Dr. Costanzo provides therapy himself, which is increasingly rare among psychiatrists.

Dr. Costanzo has been trained in/provided individual therapy, family therapy, and marital therapy. He feels a call to treat the whole family, if they are so willing. He welcomes the parents/caregivers of his pediatric patients to individual therapy of their own.

He also has unique experience in sports mental performance training, where he helps athletes unlock their full potential by overcoming mental roadblocks.

Having struggled with ADHD himself, he offers a unique perspective and expertise in this area, where he provides both therapy and exceptional medication management.

Dr. Costanzo graduated psychiatry residency from the Cleveland Clinic Akron General, after which he completed one year of specialized training in a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship.

He strongly believes you are not your diagnosis and enjoys partnering with you to tailor care to your specific goals.

To avoid a $100 late cancellation or no-show fee, please cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance. A significant amount of planning, preparation, and expense is invested in reserving space and customizing the schedule for our patients. Late cancellations and no-shows disallow another patient from receiving care. Your kindness and consideration are greatly appreciated.
