Eric Buete, MD

Dr. Buete received a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Florida and then a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Florida. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Bayfront Medical Center and then earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from USF. He is board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing urgent care since 1997. Dr. Buete has been consistently recognized for his high level of patient care and ability to manage large patient volumes. He has also used his combined business and medical training in various ways throughout his career, such as serving as a Medical Review Officer for Bayfront, as Chairman of the St. Anthony’s Hospital Institutional Review Board, and later as Medical Director of AFC Urgent Care in Sarasota. In his free time Dr. Buete likes to boat or play pickleball with his wife and 5 children.
