Derick Nowacki is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan. He offers a full spectrum of family medicine services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care, while also specializing in adult psychiatric medication management and weight loss counseling. By combining medical expertise with a compassionate approach, he works collaboratively with patients to create personalized treatment plans that support their overall well-being.

With a strong commitment to mental health, Derick provides thorough psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based medication management for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other conditions. He believes in reducing stigma around mental health and creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard and empowered in their care. His special interest in weight management reflects his holistic approach to health, recognizing the importance of metabolic health, lifestyle change, and long-term support.

Derick earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Carlow University, building on years of clinical experience in primary care and behavioral health settings. He is board-certified through the ANCC and maintains an active commitment to continuing education to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care. Derick is also currently working on his Psychiatric Mental-Health board certification.

Outside of practice, Derick values time with family and enjoys outdoor activities that reflect his belief in balanced, healthy living. His patients appreciate his approachable style, attentive listening, and dedication to partnering with them on their journey to better health.
