Dr. Parr sees patients and families of all ages for primary care and has a special interest in lifestyle to maintain and optimize health.  He is available for in-home visits in the Fairbanks North Star Borough and accepts telemedicine appointments for patients located in Alaska and Missouri.  He has expertise in chronic disease management, musculoskeletal health and sports medicine, metabolic health and diet, mental health, and holistic wellness. About

Dr. Parr started practicing medicine in the military in 2019 and has since separated to pursue a career serving the local Alaska community and other faithful Catholics via telemedicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has five years of experience with primary care practicing medicine from a Catholic perspective acknowledging that patients have a body, mind, and soul that all need nourishment, exercise, and rest.

Dr. Parr received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. His internship and residency in Family Medicine were completed at the Saint Louis University Family Medicine Residency Program in O’Fallon, IL.

Dr. Parr and his wife, Alisha, have four children. They are Third Order Members of the Institute of the Incarnate Word (IVE), and active members of the parish of Immaculate Conception Church in Fairbanks, Alaska

Alaska Patients: All services are billed to patients using self-pay rates. Insurance billing will become available later in 2025.
 
 Self-Pay Discounted Rates are available at this time. Service may be eligible for HSA reimbursement when deemed medically necessary by your PCP.

Services deemed medically necessary by a physician at MyCatholicDoctor may be covered by your insurance. Network coverage is determined by your referring physician’s participation. All other services are eligible for our Self-Pay Discounted Rates.
