I grew up as one of eleven children in a traditional Catholic home, and I have a twin sister! I attend Mass at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Harrisburg, PA. My journey in the medical field began when I apprenticed with a local midwife. During this time, I became a Birth Doula Certified professional, attending numerous prenatal and postpartum appointments, as well as home and hospital births. Although I chose not to pursue midwifery, my experiences made me realize that I wanted to continue serving women and families in the best way possible.
I struggled to find a program that respected the teachings of my Catholic faith. It was during this search that Dr. Whittaker recommended the Creighton Model FertilityCare Practitioner program. I feel blessed to share the truths that the Creighton Model teaches women and couples about their health, fertility, and healthy relationships. This program directly opposes the current secular views many hold about women, their cycles, and their families.
Currently, I work part-time as a medical assistant at MorningStar Family Health Center in Chambersburg, where I support Dr. Eddie and Dr. Jean, both of whom are Catholic and NaPro doctors.
