Chuck R. Colas, D.O.

I grew up in a small Northern California town and I was fortunate to do so. I learned the value of hard work, and spent a lot of time logging and doing construction. I am proud of this background and I believe it helps me relate better with my patients. I always had a dream to become a physician, so I pursued that dream.

I graduated from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. I completed a traditional rotating internship and a family practice residency program in Tucson, Arizona.

I am board certified in family practice, and I get to practice a lot of different types of medicine. I still do house calls, and I also love doing emergency medicine and hospital work. I see and treat a wide variety of patients from infants to the elderly.

I am married and live in the extreme northeastern corner of California. We have a small off the grid homestead just across the border in Nevada. My wife and I are devout Catholics and we love our Church. It is a privilege to serve.
