Christa Marie Thornberry, M.D.

Dr. Thornberry is a board-certified Pediatrician. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Baylor University and her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She then went on to complete a Pediatric Residency at the University of Florida’s Shands Hospital.

After several years in private practice, Dr. Thornberry completed an online distance fellowship through the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, learning to help patients improve in well-being as well as in health. She is also knowledgeable in low-carb dieting, one of the simplest fat loss/metabolic health strategies.

In addition to working for My Catholic Doctor, Dr. Thornberry works part-time as a locum tenens Pediatric Hospitalist, providing well-newborn, level 2 nursery, and pediatric inpatient care in hospitals all over the United States. She and her husband live in Virginia, where they homeschool their two teenage boys.
