Angela Rosson is a licensed counselor in both Washington and Oregon, working in private practice part-time in Vancouver, Washington, and involved in seminary formation at Mt. Angel Seminary in Oregon. She has worked in both agency settings and private practice with a range of clinical issues, with teens, individuals, and couples, and now focuses her practice on individual adults.

Angela received her education at Franciscan University of Steubenville, graduating with a B.A. in Theology and Mental Health, as well as an M.A. in Counseling. Angela also recently completed a certificate in spiritual direction from the Institute for Ministry Formation. Although her spiritual direction is distinct from her therapy services, the two experiences mutually inform one another and enrich the understanding Angela can offer her clients.

Angela has provided counseling services at Mt. Angel Seminary for the past three years to support the seminarians’ formation process. She considers it a privilege to assist men in their human formation as they discern their vocations. Angela has previously provided therapy services to religious, and is honored to be available for therapy for both men and women religious and for priests. As a lay Franciscan, Angela considers her professional work as an extension of her unique Franciscan call.

Angela enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and finds time outdoors to be restorative. Her favorite activities outside of work usually involve working in her yard and spending time with her family.
