Often, the stigma attached to mental illness forces people to avoid finding help at all. They are afraid of what others will think of them. They are worried this is a sign of weaknes. This stigma is the greatest barrier for people to receive effective treatment. 

But Jesus Christ desires you to be healed! And so do we. Through our effective treatment options and compassionate providers, we provide the quality care you need, guided by the hands of Jesus Christ.

Find a physician, counselor, or social worker licensed in your state to help with depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, life discernment, and more. If you don’t see a licensed therapist in your state, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with a physician. Many have the misconception that they should only meet with a therapist for their mental health concerns. While therapists do specialize in helping people, physicians are trained holistically on mental health, how to diagnose these conditions, and how to treat them effectively and uniquely for each patient. Prescription and non-prescription options to cope are both available through MyCatholicDoctor clinicians. Most conditions can be treated effectively and accurately through our physicians. If, however, after an evaluation from our physician they decide you need more individualized help, they will be able to consult with a mental health therapist in another state to help you in your healing.
