About Stephanie

Stephanie Somerville is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

She is passionate about utilizing functional, integrative, and nutritional approaches to address root causes to mental illness for children, adolescents, and adults. She partners with her patients to develop a personalized plan of care that focuses on lifestyle changes and adding nutraceuticals/botanical supplements and/or pharmaceuticals if needed. Additionally, Stephanie offers psychotherapy and enjoys working with foster and adoptive families by implementing TBRI® strategies.

Stephanie received her undergraduate degree at Indiana Wesleyan University and her master’s degree at Northern Kentucky University. She is a TBRI® (Trust-Based Relational Intervention®) Practitioner through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. Stephanie is a candidate for certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine and Psychiatry Redefined.

Stephanie Somerville is a loving wife and mother to four amazing children. She enjoys learning, reading, hiking, running, refereeing soccer matches, and spreading the gospel through discipleship.

Services deemed medically necessary by a physician at MyCatholicDoctor may be covered by your insurance. Network coverage is determined by your referring physician’s participation. All other services are eligible for our Self-Pay Discounted Rates.

  • Advanced testing such as Organic Acid Testing (OATs), IgG Food Sensitivities, Nutrient Testing, and Pharmacogenetic Testing.
  • Therapy including TBRI® strategies.
  • Personalized plan of care which addresses lifestyle (sleep, nutrition, exercise, relaxation, stress management), nutraceuticals/botanical supplements, and pharmaceuticals if needed.
  • Mental health medication management (not controlled substances).

Stephanie sees children, adolescents, and adults providing personalized integrative, functional, and nutritional psychiatry to address root causes to mental health conditions. She also provides therapy and medication management. She is available for virtual appointments.
