Nicole Snyder, APRN, FNP-C

Nicole is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her focus is on healing and wholeness for the whole family. She practiced conventional medicine for years before entering the world of integrative and functional medicine. She is passionate about helping people identify and heal the root cause of health issues through emphasizing lifestyle, nutrition, botanicals, and nutraceuticals. When needed she will also use pharmaceuticals.

Her areas of expertise include: functional GI disorders, hormonal health (thyroid, HPA axis/adrenal, reproductive), women’s health, cardiometabolic health, autoimmune, and mental health/mood support.

Nicole graduated with a bachelors of science from the University of Massachusetts, and a Masters in Nursing from the Ohio State University. Prior to being trained in Functional Medicine, she worked in chronic pain management and walk-in ambulatory care centers.

She came to develop a love for nursing after she served in a women’s homeless shelter with the Missionaries of Charity in Rome. It was through her encounters there that she experienced a call to care for the sick and bring the light of Christ into the darkness of suffering that so many experience.

Nicole currently lives with her husband and six children in Columbus, Ohio where they experience a rich and abundant life as a homeschooling family!
