About Maureen

Maureen McCarthy, FNP-C has spent 25 years working in the public health sphere, primary care, reproductive health, and endocrinology. Later in her career her passion centered around the study of PCOS in the adolescent female population and ultimately lead her into the field of women’s and men’s reproductive health. In 2019 she was introduced to FEMM Health and the Reproductive Health Research Institute (RHRI) for further educational and research opportunities that she has taken part in, to this day. In 2022 Maureen completed a sixteen-month fellowship in Atlanta, GA in Women’s Reproductive Health applying the RHRI protocols. She also has attended advanced program modules in Immunity and GI at the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Maureen currently lives in Orange County, California. She has four grown children and twelve grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her growing family, traveling, research, art and music.
