Jennifer Beck, M.D.

In addition to practicing Family Medicine, Dr. Beck is a wife and mother to two young, curious, and independent souls. She sees patients from 2 years through adulthood for acute, episodic care. Dr Beck also offers primary care services to adults via telehealth.

Dr. Beck approaches her practice and relationships with patients and caregivers through the lens that our spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional healths are integral and interdependent on the other both within our own selves and within our families and communities.

Dr. Beck is board certified in Family Medicine. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1996, she practiced nursing in a variety of settings for 5 years prior to entering medical school also at the University of Kentucky. She then completed medical school and residency at UK ultimately in 2007 and has since practiced in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Hospital Medicine as well as telehealth settings. She offers a well rounded approach from multiple viewpoints of the care spectrum for your health needs.

In addition to participating in family and parish life, Dr. Beck and her husband and their children run their small farm, “Sacred Heart Homestead,” where Icelandic sheep, chickens, turkeys, dogs and cats roam and provide for their family within a natural setting.

Services deemed medically necessary by a physician at MyCatholicDoctor may be covered by your insurance. Network coverage is determined by your referring physician’s participation. All other services are eligible for our Self-Pay Discounted Rates.

• Adult and pediatric (age 2 and up) convenient care/urgent care for acute episodic conditions such as allergies, colds, flu, fever, headache, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, UTI, conjunctivitis, rash, sore throat, congestion, constipation.
• Adult Primary Care through all stages of adulthood – both preventative care and disease management.
• Deprescribing – As adults age, there is a tendency for patients to collect more and more medications, sometimes even to treat side effects caused by another medication. Dr. Beck is committed to practicing as effectively as possible using as few medications as possible, taking the time to understand our elders’ care goals as part of the partnership process.
