About Gianna

Gianna graduated from King’s College with her Master of Science in PA Studies in 2015. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor in the King’s PA Program. Gianna is a FEMM-certified medical provider and Marquette Method instructor. She can see patients in Pennsylvania to diagnose and treat with FEMM protocols and patients in all 50 states for NFP instruction.

When not caring for patients and students, she enjoys spending time with her college sweetheart and young children. Her patron saints include St. Gianna (of course), Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Therese, and St. Francis DeSales, all of whom have been immensely helpful in her spiritual formation.

In-Network Carriers

Natural family planning should be covered pre-deductible and without co-pay in accordance with the Affordable Care Act, equal to birth control coverage, as long as you see a MyCatholicDoctor medical provider that is in network with your insurance and get a referral to a MyCatholicDoctor NFP instructor. Your insurance plan may also require you to obtain a PCP referral. Unfortunately, many insurance carriers inappropriately apply co-pay and deductible for NFP, and inappropriately deny claims. MyCatholicDoctor is fighting this at many levels. If you are billed a co-pay or deductible, or your claim is denied, please contact your insurance company.

Tricare: Effective Jan 1, 2025, Tricare has switched region allocation for several states. We are currently re-evaluating each of our provider's certification status for Tricare Select and will update profiles as we have confirmed status. Please check back for updates.

Services deemed medically necessary by a physician at MyCatholicDoctor may be covered by your insurance. Network coverage is determined by your referring physician’s participation. All other services are eligible for our Self-Pay Discounted Rates.
