Daniel R. Fial, MSN, APRN-CNP

Dan Fial is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, board certified through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2011, earning his Bachelor of Applied Health Science. Dan later graduated from Walden University with honors in 2017 with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing in 2019.

As an Ohio native, Dan has been in the medical field since 2006. His studies have taken him everywhere from Atlanta and Chicago, all the way out to the British and Dutch West Indies of the Eastern Caribbean, on the islands of Anguilla and St. Maarten. During his nursing career, he worked in various specialties ranging from civilian medevac to mobile intensive care. He currently works in the Greater Cleveland area as the Hyperbaric Center Director at Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital. Prior to this, he has worked in advanced practice in both emergency and internal medicine.

Dan is a house call urgent care provider in the western suburbs of Cleveland. He has specialty training with patients in the adult through gerontology spectrum. He is passionate about the acute management of chronic conditions such as CHF and COPD, ultimately preventing expensive ER visits or even possible admissions. Dan appreciates preventative medicine and working with patients to navigate challenges in their diet and activity through education to help them set and achieve their health goals.

Dan is married and values quality time with his growing family. He is involved with his home parish as a lector and extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. He serves as a member of the Parish Council and the core committee for the eucharistic revival team. He is a founding member of the marriage ministry team with his wife and most enjoys leading the men’s fellowship group. Dan is an avid chef, loves baseball, and enjoys the North Coast.
