About

Cecilia is a wife, a mother, and a bilingual (Spanish-English) Speech-Language Pathologist. She sees patients from birth through adult ages. Her practice includes evaluations and treatments for speech, language, social, and cognitive communication disorders. She specializes in treating patients within the Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has treated clients in a variety of settings including home based early intervention, schools, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and clinics.

Cecilia has experience working with children with articulation, language, voice, fluency, feeding/swallowing, apraxia, and pragmatics disorders. Additionally, she has provided skilled therapy to adults with aphasia, dysphagia, fluency, cognitive communication disorders, apraxia, and dysarthria. She also has experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Cecilia’s mission is to empower her patients by giving them the tools, techniques, and strategies to be effective communicators. She collaborates with parents and/or caregivers to address carryover and generalization of skills and creates a comfortable learning environment where patients feel empowered and motivated.
