Andrea Pearson, M.D., FAAD

Dr. Pearson is a dermatologist, wife and mother of three children. She sees patients of all ages from infancy through adulthood. Her practice includes pediatric and general medical dermatologic care, hair loss, nail disorders, skin care, and skin lesion evaluation.

Dr. Pearson is board certified in Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Catholic Medical Association. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross in 2001, she worked with at-risk youth in a residential treatment program prior to attending medical school. She graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 2008 and did her internship in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital and then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA in 2012. She stayed on as an attending physician at UMass for one year prior to accepting a position in her hometown of Keene, NH at Cheshire Medical Center/ Dartmouth Hitchcock- Keene. She practiced community-based pediatric, general and surgical dermatology for eight years.

She is excited to be working with MyCatholicDoctor to be able to provide teledermatology services for acute and chronic skin diseases as well as consultative services to her colleagues. She has a particular interest in providing care for the underserved and those with chronic skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and other skin conditions. Her hope is to listen well, provide education, offer safe and effective personalized treatment options and to also appreciate the impact that skin disease has on her patients’ overall well-being and personal integrity.

• Pediatric and General Dermatology care for acute and chronic skin conditions including: pediatric and adult acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hives, seborrheic dermatitis “dandruff,” peri-oral dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, pregnancy dermatoses, tinea “ringworm,” contact dermatitis. 
• Acute rash evaluation with lab work-up and referral as indicated
• Chronic skin disease management including evidence based medical intervention, behavioral and dietary modifications
• Evaluation of some skin lesions with surgical referral as needed
• Consultation for general skin care
