Taylor’s interest in physical therapy was first sparked while being treated for an injury his Senior year of high school. Physical therapy offers a blend of his love of science and his desire to help patients heal and grow stronger. Taylor’s Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Gerontology comes from Kansas State University. Where he was a St. Isidore’s student ambassador. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, from Regis University in Colorado. The Catholic College instilled important values in the approach and practice of medicine. In the spirit of the Ignatian value cura personalis, taking care of the whole person: mind, body and spirit; students are encouraged to engage in faith-filled conversations with patients.
Frustrated by out dated ideas in physical therapy, Taylor seeks for results through thoughtfully design exercises that address, each patient’s abilities and personal goals.
By utilizing a patient centered approach to medicine, Taylor’s passionate about recovery focused on strength training. He has worked with a variety of patients of all ages as a traveling physical therapist throughout KS, CO, NE, MT, ME, VA, and NM.
As a former athlete, Taylor enjoys living an active lifestyle. Growing up on a farm in rural Kansas gave him plenty of opportunities to put in a long day’s work. He is a National Park and Outdoors enthusiasts including, camping, hiking and paddle boarding. His adventures have taken him to all 50 states. He enjoys volunteering his services at the local Monastery, as well as attending daily Mass there. He continues his education in the treatment for vestibular disorders and looks forward to expanding his skills.
