Rudorwashe “Rudo” Cusack, MA, CRC, MBA

Rudo Cusack is a mental health counselor, wife, and a mother. She sees clients from the age of 18 and up. Her practice includes individual and couple’s therapy. She is regularly consulted by individuals and couples seeking a faith-based approach to coping with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, scrupulosity, stress, marital issues, grief, and loss.

Rudo is experienced in various areas of counseling and healing to help individuals find their purpose, embrace hope and face life’s challenges by integrating evidenced-based therapeutic modalities with the truths of the Catholic faith. Rudo Cusack is also a Certified Rehabilitation counselor. She is considered a professional counselor educated and trained at the graduate-level possessing specialized knowledge, skills, and attitudes to work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities. Through a comprehensive unique counseling process, certified rehabilitation counselors help individuals with disabilities achieve their personal, social, psychological, career, and independent living goals. She has a completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at Salve Regina University. Rudo has also completed an MBA from Porto Business School in Portugal, and a Bachelor’s in Commerce degree from Deakin University in Australia.

Presently, Rudo is enrolled in the Master of Theology degree at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Rudo joined MyCatholicDoctor in 2023 to provide faith based mental health counseling through telehealth. She also has a small private practice located in Rhode Island that offers telehealth counseling sessions.

Services deemed medically necessary by a physician at MyCatholicDoctor may be covered by your insurance. Network coverage is determined by your referring physician’s participation. All other services are eligible for our Self-Pay Discounted Rates.
