Mary Nave, M.D.

Dr. Nave was born in Los Angeles, California and is a graduate of the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. She completed her internship and pediatric residency  at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and its affiliates UCLA, Los Angeles Childrens Hospital and Harbor General. She has practiced pediatric medicine for 26 years including outpatient private practice and is now working as a pediatric hospitalist and child abuse forensic examiner in San Luis Obispo County.  Dr. Nave has maintained certification through the American Board of Pediatrics since 1996. In addition, she is a member of the Catholic Medical Association and the American College of Pediatricians. 

Dr. Nave has been married for 30 years and two young adult sons.  Dr. Nave has worked as a parent volunteer at St. Rose Catholic School and for Troop 60 of  the Boy Scout of America. She also enjoys baking bread, cooking, reading, dancing, and hiking.
