About Dr. Bach━ CHAIR OF DEPT. OF RHEUMATOLOGY

Dr. Bach is board-certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She completed both her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR and a Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Washington.
Dr. Bach enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as trying the latest dish made by her husband.

Services Offered

  • Rheumatology is the diagnosis and treatment of systemic autoimmune diseases where a person’s immune system may be overactive and attacks the person’s own body. These diseases can lead to inflammation, pain, swelling, arthritis, joint deformities, and organ damage.
  • Some of these diseases include systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Sjogren’s disease, scleroderma, vasculitis, polymyalgia rheumatica, and polymyositis.
  • Rheumatologists also treat other inflammatory conditions such as gout, as well as diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions non-surgically.
