I have always viewed myself as an “old-fashioned” family doctor. For the past 25 years, I have practiced medicine as a part of a large group. Over the years, I have had the privilege of providing quality medical care to thousands of patients. I respect the doctor-patient relationship and treat my patients as individuals- listening to their stories, assessing their needs, and treating their medical conditions. Informed consent is a fundamental part of medicine, and thus I work hard to educate patients regarding their medical conditions as well as the risks and benefits of various treatment options available to them. I have been blessed with training, skills, and experience, and it is a privilege to serve patients through my vocation as a Family Medicine Physician. After earning both a Ph.D. in Anatomy and Cellular Biology and an M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin, I complete a residency in Family Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have worked in private practice in Milwaukee since completing my residency in 1997. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and am a member of the American Catholic Medical Association. I am also a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. Blessed with thirty-two years of marriage, my wife, Mary Anne, and I have eight children; three of whom are adopted. My faith, family, and vocation as a Family Doctor are the greatest blessings in my life. Additionally, I enjoy fishing, gardening, woodworking, and farming.
