Kathryn Byram, M.S. CCC-SLP

Katie is a wife, mother and medically trained Speech-Language Pathologist. She is thrilled to bring her knowledge to the telehealth platform at MyCatholicDoctor and provide her patients with truly excellent care.

A California native, she spent her early years in schools before transitioning to pediatric hospitals. There, she fell in love with holistic treatment of both the patient, and their family. She found a particular passion for NICU rehabilitation and infant dysphagia-working to rebuild the disrupted natural course between Mom and baby. She continued to remain active practicing in adult and geriatric care.

Katie had long noticed the lack of medically skilled clinicians available to patients outside of the academic system and following hospitalization-particularly for those who were physically and geographically constrained. She also came to crave spiritual healing while working with patients in their grief, and hope. She believes neither the platform nor institution can fully replace quality, Christ centered care and is thrilled to meet her patients in this space at MyCatholicDoctor.

Katie and her family primarily reside in Southern California. They enjoy sun, reading and simple pleasures such as their active hummingbird feeder.
