About Me

Dr. Kerry Pound is a Board Certified Pediatrician who primarily works in the hospital caring for pediatric patients. She does not have an office in which to see primary care patients.  Through the My Catholic Doctor platform, she accepts patients under the age of 21 years with routine or urgent pediatric medical issues.  She particularly enjoys working with teen girls who are experiencing menstrual irregularities; she seeks to diagnose and treat the root cause of such issues, rather than simply apply a band-aid approach of birth control.   She has been trained in both Creighton and FEMM methods to undergo a work-up and treatment plan for these young women.

She is a passionate pro-life physician and she enjoys speaking to teens and adults about Theology of the Body, the harm of the hormonal birth control and the pro-life message.

Dr. Pound completed her undergraduate degree in Bioethics and subsequently went to Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar to read Philosophy and Theology for a second degree. Thereafter, she attended medical school in Montreal at McGill University before settling in the Boston area with her husband. She and her husband daily embrace the joy and chaos of raising four beautiful children.
