Amanda is a board certified lactation consultant, registered nurse of 17 years, and mother of four. She has experienced several breastfeeding challenges of her own and strives to work with mothers to reach their own personal goals. As each mother and baby pair are unique, Amanda takes great care in developing a personalized care plan for each family.

With specialized training in tethered oral tissues and oral habilitation of the breastfeeding dyad, Amanda is experienced in guiding families through oral tie treatment.

  • Prenatal Consults – feel confident for the first latch.
  • Breastfeeding Consults – help with all breastfeeding questions and concerns.
  • Pumping Consults – get help with flange sizing, pumping schedules, and learn how to store and prepare milk for baby.

Patients

Amanda provides lactation care from pregnancy through the weaning process. She sees families in person in the Baton Rouge, LA area and offers virtual consults for any location.
