Alexis is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, but firstly, she is a daughter of our Lord. She lives in Ohio with her husband, 3 children, and mini Bernedoodle, Babs. They are active members at their parish and incorporate the Catholic faith in their domestic life.

Alexis earned her Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Management from Le Cordon Bleu® Institute of Culinary Arts in 2011. She then went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Youngstown State University in 2014 and became a board-certified Registered Dietitian.

She has a unique background with over 20 years of food and nutrition experience – including working in restaurants, bakeries, regulatory affairs, corporate food manufacturing, school nutrition, and nutrition therapy. These experiences have allowed her to view food and nutrition from many perspectives.

Throughout her career, she has met many people who desire peace with food and their diet. Because food is what brings us together in communion, she wants to help you find joy around the meal table. This led her to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and approach nutrition therapy differently. Her goal is to help you find peace with food and your body, the way God intended it.

She takes a non-diet approach to nutrition therapy. Together, you will unpack how food is integrated into your day-to-day life, learn God’s plan for food and your body, talk about nutrition specific to you, and refine mindful eating habits. Let her help you achieve a better relationship with food and a more peaceful understanding of how to enjoy it!

Alexis has a devotion to St. Martha, patron saint of dietitians, cooks, housekeepers, and hospitality. She founded the Friends of St. Martha at her parish where they serve the church by cleaning and polishing the sanctuary, caring for the sacristy, and decorating for the liturgical seasons.
