About Dr. Mast

Dr. Alexander Mast is a board-certified pediatrician, Catholic, a husband, and a father of 5. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He has experience in private practice and currently works at a rural Catholic healthcare clinic.

Through MyCatholicDoctor he provides primary care for newborns through age 22. He offers virtual care, and, if local and needed, makes house calls. He diagnoses and treats acute and chronic medical conditions, consults on developmental concerns, and sees those struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, or OCD. He would love to incorporate talk of God and prayer into his patients’ hardships. He focuses on making all he encounters feel heard, well-informed, and cared for with love and expertise.

When Dr. Mast is not in the office, he spends most of his time enjoying outings and home time with his wife and kids. His favorite way to start the day is in church in front of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. His favorite pastimes include soccer and martial arts, and when the opportunity arises, he has fun off-roading in his Jeep or on his Onewheel (electric skateboard).
